We're Here to Help! Student Financial Services

FAFSA and WASFA deadline extended to June 1

Student Financial Services has begun sending out Financial Aid Offers. Please check your To-Do Items in myWSU and complete any outstanding tasks.

Accepting Loans

The window to take action on your loans will open mid-summer. We will notify you via email when you can accept/decline loans

General Scholarship Awarding

Scholarships from the General Scholarship Application can be awarded at any time throughout the year as funds become available. Just because there is not a scholarship on the original Financial Aid Offer does not mean that a scholarship will not be awarded. Students can always see their up to date offer in myWSU.

Special Circumstances

The special circumstances appeal for 2024-2025 will be available later in Spring. The student must have a FAFSA on file and have a financial aid award before submitting an application.

Emergency Assistance to Students

We understand that emergencies happen, and we are committed to helping you progress toward your degree. WSU is now reviewing requests for limited, emergency funds on a case-by-case basis to support students who need emergency assistance with expenses. At this time, all federal emergency funding (i.e., HEERF Funding) has been fully disbursed.
